The 2009/2010 Area Governor of the Year received this award for:

  • Personal attention to and interest in the success of all Area members
  • Successfully leading one of District 45's areas to Select Distinguished status:
    • 100% of club renewals submitted on time
    • 100% of club visits completed on time
  • All clubs above charter strength
  • All clubs achieved Distinguished Status
  • Four President's Distinguished Clubs and 1 Select Distinguished Club
