Advisor of Marketing Region 9 Appointment

Wendy Harding, District 45 Governor is pleased to announce that Heather Perkins, DTM, PDG has been appointed Region Advisor of Marketing for Region 9 for the 2010-2011 year. The position runs from March 15, 2010 to June 30, 2011. District 45 becomes a part of Region 9 effective July 1, 2010.

The Region Advisor Marketing position is a valuable asset to the growth of Toastmasters International and will provide District Officers on-going support , coaching and hands-on training in all areas of marketing including strengthening existing clubs and building new clubs.

The Region Advisors Marketing are a vital link between Districts, World Headquarter and the Board of Directors and require expert knowledge about marketing-related issues and trends within the regions they serve. The Advisors are appointed by the Toastmasters International Board of Directors.

Heather has held the position of District 45 Governor twice and continues to mentor District 45 Officers and members.

Congratulations Heather and good luck in your new position.
